Kennedy's Kindergarten Graduation

Yesterday Kennedy graduated from Kindergarten. She has been so excited about this day for almost a month. Everyday she has done a countdown til the day. I went out an bought just a couple of cute dollar store graduation decorations, and decorated the kitchen for her. I had her present waiting for her on the kitchen table. She was so excited when she came downstairs and saw everything. This was the first morning all year that she actually jumped out of bed to get ready for school. HA! She looked so cute in her cap and gown. She looked so grown up. It really made me stop and realize how fast time flies. I still remember the day I brought her home from the hospital. She was all of 6lbs, and I remembering thinking how small she was. (that was until I had four 2lb babies). She had a head full of jet black hair. Now, still with the head full of hair, now only it's brown. They did a cute little ceremony, she sang 3 songs, and then got her diploma. We took her to eat at her favorite Mexican food restaurant, and celebrated with chocolate cake. She had a great day, we are so proud of her. She is now officially a 1st grader. Did I really just type that! WOW. We did joke around at the graduation commenting on what it would be like with 4 graduating at the same time. But I don't want to rush time, so for now it's all about Kennedy and her graduation. I love you, Miss Pris!

Super Cute Teacher Appreciation Gifts

I went over to Tip Junkie, which by the way I am addicting to, and got some really cute ideas for Teacher Appreciation Week. I made the water flavor holder, and added the cute message on the front and hung it on the water bottle. Then I decorated the hand sanitizer bottles, each one to match the teacher's likings. The tag on them said " Hands down you're the BEST!" Then I baked a Poppy Seed cake, which I will be adding to my yummy recipes. I put a piece in a clear bag, and added a tag that said "It's a piece of cake, when picking my favorite teacher. I added a tag to a package of Mounds, and it read " Mrs. ______ I learned Mounds of new things this year" Last I made caramel apples. I dipped them into caramel, then chocolate, and sprinkled them with pecans, toffee chips, and some I did with peanut butter chips. The kids really loved taking the gifts to their teachers. The were a big hit with the teachers as well.

Somebody got CUT

Their haircut that is! Cole and Casen were way over due for haircuts. Thanks to Mrs. Kim she came over and cut their hair for us. Also a big thank you to Auntie Ashley & Auntie Heather for holding the boys so I could get pictures of their 1st haircut. They did so good. Casen was very quiet & still, if you can believe that. I think it was because he was not sure what was going on. It will be interesting to see how they do the older they get. Cole on the other hand was good, but we had to give him goldfish to keep him entertained. I am sure you are wondering why Cooper & Ella didn't get their haircut. Well Ella being a girl, we are letting her hair grow. Cooper had so many IV's in his head in the NICU causing them to have to shave his head in several spots, so He is just now getting a full head of hair.

On another note, the kids have turned 13 mos old. They are all standing independently. OH MY! Cooper and Casen have taken a few steps. Ella and Cole are a little more cautious. They are saying new things all the time. Cole's new word is uh-o! Ella & Casen have learned to hit their mouth to make noises, like ah, ah, ah you get what I'm saying. HA! Cooper is still being a little ham, he loves the camera & to dance. Cole has started a new thing where he lays down in the floor to let you know he is pitching a fit, but making sure he keeps looking up to make sure someone sees him doing this. Then when you pick him up, he just smiles with this wrinkled up old face. Too CUTE!

Yes! This is all of us!

I wanted to share a picture of our family, well I should say all of the Perez Family. This picture was taken last weekend at Jeremy's uncle Homer's wedding. Yes, this is all of the Perez'! It is Jeremy's parents, brother, sister, our nephew and us. ALL 13 of us. One big happy family, it's a great family, and we have great memories, with many more to come! And yes all 13 of us pretty much are at everything together, but isn't that how it's supposed to be? We have even gone out to eat since the quads have been born. That was the first time we were Perez Party of 13. It was great! I love you Perez'!
This one was a good pic, but it you can't see Ella & Cooper.
