Your house or MINE?????

The kids got this house for Christmas from Nana & Papa T. We kept it inside so they would get more use out of it. They have had so much fun playing in it, the only problem is who's house is it?
Because according to Casen, he seems to think it is HIS HOUSE~ Little does he know it belongs to 3 others. I guess someone should tell him! Oh wait that is what Cole is trying to do in the above picture! Do you think he is listening? HA!
I don't think so because he is still in CHARGE of the door. Poor Kennedy looks like she is staying clear of MR. Casen!

Well looks like he did get the message, it just took a quick phone call to mom and dad from Miss Ella, and out of the way he got! Leave it to his sister to show him "who's house it IS"

*honestly though, they really do love this house even if they haven't figured out who the real owner of this property is!

Valentines Day @ Mardi Gras Kid Parade

I love Valentines Day! This year I found the boys the cutest shirts. They said, "Cupid is my homeboy!" I made Kennedy & Ella one. We spent the day together at the Mardi Gras Kid Parade in Galveston. I was a little worried about how the kids would respond to all the people and loud sirens, but as usual they had a BLAST! Of course we had the normal comments about the stroller, even had some say that we were a parade of our own. However aside from the few comments we really had a great time. Haiden & Kennedy really enjoyed catching all the beads and seeing all the floats.
I took a picture of this clown riding this bike, because I think I found the perfect way to take all 4 babies on a bicycle ride! HA! Just stick em in the wheelbarrow & off we would go!

The babies were not to sure about necklaces being thrown at them, but certainly didn't hesitate to put each one around their neck. They wore the necklaces for the rest of the day.
After the parade we decided to walk down to the beach. I have to admit I was so excited to see the reaction the kids would have playing in the sand. It was totally worth my excitement. THEY LOVED THE BEACH, even Cole. He was a little skeptical at first like he always is about everything, but quickly began enjoying fun in the sun & sand.
Cooper automatically started dancing in the sand.

Miss Ella, well she did what she does best...........collect as many things as her little hands will hold. This time it was ROCKS~ Casen ran around chasing Haiden with that red ball in hand! If you look at the necklace he is wearing, well that little necklace caused quite a meltdown at bath time when he had to take it off.

I just love this picture of Haiden & Kennedy on the beach with all of the necklaces they caught. We will certainly be making the Mardi Gras Kid Parade an annual family trip!

Simple Pleasures......

Today for some reason out of the blue I was sitting on the couch, and got to thinking about "my life" and started smiling. I smiled because I realized that the things that me me the most happy are "simple"! Life really is about the "simple pleasures" so I decided to blog about "my life" simple pleasures! I of course could write a book about all of them, so I am going to just list some of them.................................
*dates with the BEST husband a woman could ever ask for & being loved unconditionally by him**looking into these BIG BROWN eyes*

*hearing her giggle & seeing her smile*

*hearing his sweet voice say "tank choo" for thank you*

*her precious pig tails**great times with GREAT friends*

* little feet & untied shoe laces*

*this smile that makes his nose wrinkle up and two little dimples**having THREE sibilings and knowing they have something GREAT to offer this WORLD*

*marrying into a family that LOVES to be together*

*hearing my papaw's voice on the other end of the phone saying "I love you"

*how he LIGHTS UP when his nana walks through the door & his contagious SMILE & teddy bear HUGS*

*Oh how I LOVE YOU~

*and of COURSE these TOO*

Again there are sooooooooooooo many more to list, but I just wanted to list a few!

Love em!

I have been really trying to figure out what would be the best plates & silverware to start using with the quads. Yes, I did put a lot of thought into this because 1. i was going to be spending the money X4 on them. 2. I wanted them to be worth the money I was spending. and 3. I REALLY wanted what I felt was going to "work" for my kids & their developing needs. So for those main reasons and others, I chose these from Gerber.

I love the fact that you get it all in one package. It comes with a plate (that can be suctioned down), a rim to snap on top of the plate to better help them "scoop" up the food without it falling off the plate, and last, a BIG grip fork & spoon.
* No Gerber did not ask me to do a product review for them, I found them on my own.
The kids love them, and I didn't even have to use the suction part of the plate. The spoon & fork were PERFECT! In my opinion anyway. I really thought they would have trouble using them, but BOY was I wrong. They took to them like they had been using them forever! I like that the handle is short & chunky, and the fork is rounded on the edges, instead of being pointy. So if your kiddos are at that stage where they are getting ready for utensils or even a great baby shower gift, check these out!
Will post pics of them using them soon!
