roasting marshmallows & a front row view
It was REALLY cold & starting to DRIZZLE that day so the babies & I stayed indoors to watch, but they had a great FRONT ROW view.
I can't wait until we are all able to be outside roasting marshmallows, but until this RSV season lock down is over, inside is where we stay. This is the last year for us to have to stay in COMPLETE lock down during RSV season. THANK GOODNESS!

Sidewalk Chalk to eat or not to eat.....
These are a couple of my favorite moments from that day too. I wasn't sure where most of the chalk went, their mouth, the driveway or their CLOTHES! HA!

Merry Christmas
They were all so excited to see the toys he left for each of them. It was really neat watching the babies this year because they really got into the whole opening presents & getting excited about Santa. Cooper & Cole kept saying HO HO HO! The babies each got a chair of their OWN! They loved them. Haiden's big gifts were a popcorn machine & a guitar. He wanted to learn to play and take lessons. I am really excited about this too actually. Kennedy's big gifts were a nintendo ds and an art easel. That child LOVES to draw, color & write! It is so neat to find her artwork and letters all over the house! We had our family tradition of breakfast and the family comes over in their pjs, and then everyone goes home to get ready for the big lunch!

dancing Queen & a class party
She is really loving first grade. She is doing FANTASTIC in reading, as a matter of fact, she is already on a second grade reading level and close to being on a third grade. Math on the other hand is not her favorite, but once she "gets" it, she takes off with it. She is wanting all A's on her report card each time. Which is so funny, because her MAIN reason for wanting this is to make sure she does as good or better than Haiden. Jeremy and I have never said they had to make all A's. We just tell them to do the best you can. So the COMPETITIVE side of her with school is something new. Don't get me wrong, I am glad she wants to do so well, but sometimes she will get upset if it is not an A. I don't want her to put that kind of stress or worry on herself. So we shall see! Kennedy loves Mrs. R & so do we!
I have to admit something about these cupcakes, I thought I was going to go CRAZY trying to break the pretzels just right to make the antlers, but Kennedy loved them and that was all that mattered to me! I think I have another cooking partner, because Haiden too loves to cook!
*notice the reindeer house shoes~she wanted to make those made it into the picture as well*
